"Double gold for Turkey:
The 16th European Junior Greco-Roman championships yielded two gold medals for Turkey on the first day of the competition in the Hungarian city of Szombathely, with Cenk İldem in the 84 kilogram category and İsmail Güzel in the 120 kilogram category emerging triumphant. İldem overcame his Ukrainian opponent Yeroshkyn in the semifinals and clinched the top spot after beating Armenian Shahinyan in the final. The road to victory was a little smoother for Güzel who won his final match by default when Russian contender Botev pulled out due to injury."
