More than 12,000 units have rolled off the production line here since 1995, a testimony to this touring coach’s popularity. DaimlerChrysler has been producing buses and coaches in Turkey since 1968. It all began with the legendary Mercedes Benz O 302, which is still remembered fondly by many operators and drivers. Since 1968, the company has produced some 45,000 buses and coaches in Turkey, many of which were also successfully exported to Western Europe."
