Those burghers of the European Union are at it again...trying to devise a way of getting something akin to the discredited new EU Constitution back on track.
You'll remember the French and the Dutch, in referenda, threw out the proposals much to the chagrin of folk like Blair who've backed the idea up to the hilt but who has promised us a referendum on the subject. Only he reckons now the French and the Dutch have dumped it, we no longer need to have a say. "
