The planes that extinguished the fire in the cargo department of Istanbul Ataturk Airport were reportedly authorized 10 days before the fire.
An application for the planes hired from Canada by the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality was reportedly made to the Air Transportation Directorate 20 days ago."
