As Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan stated last week for the first time since he's been in power, if the European Union negotiations are halted because of insistence that Turkey should open its airports and harbors to southern Cypriot planes and ships then let them be halted. It isn't the song by legendary British music group the Beatles, but rather a political song with wider implications, both domestically and internationally! Erdogan's statement was welcomed by many, but some considered it late and thus less effective. "
