"EU representative to visit Semdinli

European Union Commission Delegation to Turkey head Hansjoerg Kretschmer is planning a key visit next week to the southeast, including Semdinli where the bombing of a bookshop late last year, allegedly by members of the security forces, created a great deal of tension.
The New Anatolian learned that Kretschmer's visit will be part of his several visits to parts of Turkey to monitor the implementation of reforms in the field. He's expected to visit Semdinli, Hakkari, Van and some other neighboring cities. "
