An icy wind blows between Ankara and Brussels prior to the Turkey- European Union (EU) Partnership Council Meeting to be held on June 12. Turkey evaluates its options, including not participating in the council meeting, if unacceptable items are included in the joint statement document. Foreign minister Abdullah Gul, expected to travel to Luxemburg next week, wants to see the joint statement document ahead of the meeting."
