ISTANBUL - The Chair in Contemporary Turkish Studies was based in the European Institute (EI) in the London School of Economics (LSE).
Holding a news conference, Turkish State Minister Besir Atalay said, ''many Turkish people graduated from the LSE. They act as a bridge between Turkish and British peoples. Establishment of the Chair in Contemporary Turkish Studies is a sign of the sound academical ties besides political, economic and cultural relations between our countries.''"
