"Turkey's statistics screened by EU
The European Union began the introductory screening process yesterday for the statistics chapter of Turkey's negotiation process for membership in the 25-nation bloc.
During a two-day meeting in Brussels, European Commission officials will explain European statistics methodology and classification, joint statistics terminology, joint customs tariffs, European access to secret statistic outputs for scientific purposes and the preparation of agriculture and fisheries statistics to Turkish representatives."
