Turkish President Ahmet Necdet Sezer has found the rate of women’s representation in parliament low.
Sezer wants women to play more effective role in the decision making processes. “Our women are serving successfully in all fields in Turkey, from sciences to politics, from bureaucracy to the judiciary, and reveal the strength of Turkish woman to the world. Increasing the number of successful women, and profiting from their strength will accelerate the development of our country as well.”"
