One must respect Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan’s performance, notwithstanding his good and bad aspects, as a result of his government becoming three years old about a month ago. Of course, a storm of 'externalities' has always brought 'good luck' to him. But he has done far better than anyone could have thought, including this columnist. By all standard criteria, Turkey is a better place to live in today than it was three years ago. "
