"Turkish PM says Gallipoli will be respected

The Turkish Prime Minister has given his assurance that Turkey is doing its utmost to preserve and respect historical sites on Gallipoli Peninsula.
Tayip Erdogan is on the second day of his four-day trip to New Zealand.
At a media conference on Monday, Mr Erdogan said New Zealanders should not believe all they have heard about the impact of road works underway in Gallipoli."
