"DISY proposes Middle East observation bureau in Cyprus
The main opposition party in Cyprus, the Democratic Rally (DISY) has put forward a proposal to set up a European People's Party (EPP) observation bureau on the Middle East and North Africa in Cyprus.
DISY is a member of the EPP in the European Parliament.
Speaking to CNA after the EPP summit, DISY president Nicos Anastasiades said the proposal was well received by his European colleagues and it will be discussed further next March when the EPP meets in Rome."
