Turkey EUPublic support for Turkey's bid to join the European Union continues to crumble throughout Europe, according to a new poll released on Wednesday, just weeks ahead of the scheduled start of membership talks on October 3.
Support in France, which has promised a referendum on Turkish membership, is just 11 per cent, highlighting the popular pressure political leaders are likely to face if they insist on proceeding with membership negotiations. Diplomats expect talks to begin on time."
