Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) President Mehmet Ali Talat has called on the US to lead the lifting of isolations and said the efforts shown by the European Union (EU) in this direction were hampered by Greek Cyprus administration.
Talat wrote an article for the Washington Post noting that despite the Turkish acceptance for the unification of the island in the April 24 referendum last year, the Greek Cypriot side became the beneficiaries. "
