"Greek parliament debates Turkey's EU membership bid
Turkey must show good neighborly relations toward Greece if it wants to join the European Union, the Greek prime minister said Friday in a one-day parliamentary debate on foreign policy.
'Turkey's course toward European Union accession largely depends on its actions ... It is bound to develop good neighborly relations and adopt peaceful provisions in its foreign policy,' Prime Minister Costas Caramanlis said.
He called for Ankara to 'make efforts to solve the Cyprus problem.'"
