"Ankara Presses Europe to Lift Ban on Onur Air
This weekend saw the beginning of efforts by the Turkish government to press Germany and Netherlands to lift their ban on Turkish airline Onur Air.
Turkish Transportation Minister Binali Yildirim declared that Turkish, Dutch and German civil aviation officials would meet in the Netherlands today to discuss the issue. �Representatives of Onur Air will also be there,� Yildirim told the Anatolia news agency on Sunday. �We expect that the problem will be resolved through mutual understanding.�
He also said that the Turkish government, in cooperation with the Netherlands and Germany, had taken all necessary measures to prevent any inconvenience to Onur Air passengers."
