"Survey reveals male students keener on Turkey's EU bid

69 percent of male university students support Turkey's bid to join the EU, and more than half of all respondents believe the EU is playing on the Cyprus situation to prevent eventual EU entry

A survey conducted among university seniors revealed that males voiced greater enthusiasm for Turkey's aspirations to join the European Union than females, private CNN-T�rk reported.
The survey showed that 62 percent of boys supported Turkey's EU bid while the rate among girls was only 38 percent. "
