"Use of Chemical Weapons in Gallipoli War
It is proved that the British Army used chemical weapons against the Turkish soldiers during the Gallipoli (Canakkale) Campaign in 1915.
The Turkish Prime Ministry Ottoman Archives documents show that many were killed by the British chemical weapons. It is also documented that the British Army used more illegal methods and weapons during the war. According to the Ottoman Foreign Ministry Documents (2 July 1915) , the Ottoman Government protested the British.
The Ottoman Archive Documents also show that the British planes bombed the Red Crescent First Aid Ship on 10 May 1915 and hospitals despite of all written agreements and international law. After the British attacks against the Ottoman Hospital Ship, the Ottoman Foreign Ministry send warning to the UK through the American Embassy in Istanbul."
