Cyprus is a strategic island located in the eastern Mediterranean. The island, which was ruled by the Ottomans for a long time, is full of signs of the atrocities carried out by Greek Cypriots against the Turkish residents of the island between 1960 and 1974. We now see that some people are trying to make us forget those incidents and are trying to bring Cyprus under Greek rule once again.
The Republic of Cyprus that was established by the 1960 Agreement was annulled by Makarios, and this move was followed by a genocide campaign against the Turks on the island. "
