Turkey's popular campaign of solidarity with Syria against US and international pressures set off on Tuesday from Ankara heading to Damascus and Aleppo.
The campaign is to underline Turkey's intellectuals and civil organizations solidarity with Syria during these conditions that Syria is passing through, an organizer said.
The Orient Conference Society Spokesman Mohammed Bakkar Ouglo told SANA the aim of the campaign was a bid to formulate a culture front as to face foreign pressures and to clarify that the Turkish people are against international pressures and threats and that Turks are with the Syrian people."
