"Turkish Court Overturns Law on Foreign Home Buyers (Update2)
March 14 (Bloomberg) -- Turkey may miss out on billions of dollars in property investment after the country's top court overturned a law that made it easier for foreigners to buy holiday homes on the country's Mediterranean coast.
The Constitutional Court voted unanimously in favor of an appeal against the law brought by the opposition Republican People's Party, Deputy Chief Justice Hasim Kilic told reporters in Ankara today. The Republicans had argued that the law breaches a constitutional requirement to impose the same limits on foreigners that other nations impose on Turks. "
