THE three-day visit this week of Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan confirms that relations between Pretoria and Ankara, which have been cool since 1994, are on the mend.
Deputy President Jacob Zuma described the visit as 'a fresh breeze'. Yesterday Zuma and Erdogan signed agreements on trade and economic co-operation and on building a relationship between customs authorities."
