Turkish lira drops further as central bank injects liquidity into financial sector
Turkey’s central bank on Monday said it would make an adjustment to its reserve policies aimed at bolstering the country’s banking sector amid ructions in the financial market — a move that nevertheless sent the lira plunging to fresh lows against the US dollar.
