Accusation waged in trial for Ergenek on attempted coup

ISTANBUL - During his time in office, George W. Bush helped Recep Tayyip Erdogan and his allies weaken the Turkish army.
The accusation brings back the clock ten years at the heart of the confrontation between the premier and chief of the Ankara armed forces, the defeated Ilker Basbug, currently defending himself in court in a trial for the Ergenekon military coup against Erdogan.
