Personal Data Protection Act not in accordance with EU acquis
Counselor Ireneusz Fidos, head of political affairs for the European Union delegation to Turkey, said during a meeting of a parliamentary commission on Wednesday discussing a draft law proposing revisions to the Personal Data Protection Act that the formation of the Personal Data Protection Board under the Ministry of Justice violates the EU acquis communautaire, the accumulated legislation, legal acts and court decisions which constitute the body of EU law.
