Intel agency’s warnings set off probe into Turkish al-Qaeda-affiliated group
A Turkish daily revealed that Turkey's intel agency tipped off the police on activities of an al-Qaeda-affiliated group known as Tahşiyeciler (Annotators), whose leader's defamation complaint against journalists was the basis of a recent politically orchestrated crackdown on the media.
