Investigation into fire that destroyed historic mansion closed

The İstanbul Anatolia Chief Public Prosecutor's Office announced on Wednesday that it was not necessary to continue with proceedings into a fire that destroyed the historic Hüseyin Avni Paşa mansion in İstanbul's Üsküdar district, which had been purchased by Cengiz İnşaat -- the construction company owned by pro-government Mehmet Cengiz -- a few months before the outbreak of a fire.
