EU calls on Turkey to justify decision against policemen
In an e-mail response to a question posed by Today's Zaman on Friday, Peter Stano, spokesperson for EU Enlargement Commissioner Stefan Füle, said a court decision against several police officers who were arrested earlier this week on coup charges as part of a government-sponsored operation against the police force should be justified.
