Turkey presidential election set for August 10

Istanbul (dpa) - Turkey‘s presidential election will take place on August 10, the country‘s election board announced on Friday.
Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan is widely expected to contend for the post, as his party‘s by-laws prevent him from seeking an additional term as premier, a job he has held since 2003.
