Turkey must protect fundamental rights, allow peaceful protests

PARIS, March 13 (KUNA) -- After two days of rioting in Turkey and the deaths of a policeman and a protester, France aligned its position on the incidents with those of the European Union and on Thursday urged Ankara to respect civil liberties and the right to peaceful protest.
