Women, professionals lagging behind in blood donation

Those with higher education levels are donating blood less frequently than other social groups, said İsmet Nardal, director of the Manisa Red Crescent Blood Center earlier this week, according to Turkish news sources, following reports last month indicating that women are also less likely to donate.
