Middle East tourists in Turkey on rise
Around half a million more tourists from the middle east and north Africa visited Turkey in 2013, a nine percent increase in 2012 figures, according to Turkish Ministry of Culture and Tourism.
The increased interest from these countries is attributed to the Turkish soap operas, shopping potential and better presentation of tourism by tour operators.
