Turkey’s Erdemoğlu Holding fronts $100m for Istanbul wind project

Turkey-based Erdemoğlu Holding will invest $100m into a wind project in Istanbul’s Çatalca district.
The plant, which is due to begin operating in 2014, currently has 52.5MW of generation capacity, according to Balkans Business News. The $100m investment will improve electricity generation, such that the plant will produce 200m kWh per year.
