Manchester United striker Van Persie set to miss game against Turkey

Robin Van Persie will not play for Netherlands against Turkey in Tuesday's 2014 World Cup Group D qualifier after failing to recover from a toe injury.
“On the Thursday, after returning to Manchester, I had a scan. Eight years ago I broke a bone on my other foot and it felt like a similar injury," Van Persie said.
