Turkish PM denounces 'barbarian' calls to damage economy and harm the gov't

Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdoğan has praised the attitude taken by shopkeepers during the Gezi Park protest wave, slamming as "barbarian" a suggestion made by some to stop consuming in order to harm the government. He lashed out against those who made such calls by comparing them to "pitiful rodents" who wanted to harm the whole nation.
