Turkey: Erdogan calls protesters 'pathetic rodents'

(ANSAmed) - ANKARA, JULY 24 - Turkish Premier Recep Tayyip Erdogan on Wednesday lashed out at anti-government protesters calling for a boycott of Turkish products with a colorful new epithet, local media reported. ''Those who want to get even with the government by targeting the economy are pathetic rodents trying to sink the ship that is carrying 76 million Turks'', the premier reportedly said.
