The number of private museums in Turkey increased to 177
The number of private museums under the governance of the Culture and Tourism Ministry in Turkey increased to 177 in 37 provinces.According to the information received from Turkish Ministry of Culture and Tourism, there are 338 thousand 728 works of art in the private museums in Turkey and 215 thousand 141 pieces in collectors.The most private museums in Turkey is in Istanbul with 43 and Ankara is the second with 34 and Izmir is the third with 11 private museums.
