Turkey shells targets in Syria as Parliament backs military operations
Moves on Thursday suggested Turkey is preparing to take a more aggressive stance against Syria.

ISTANBUL — Stepping up its response to a deadly attack launched from Syria, the Turkish government Thursday easily won blanket approval from Parliament for military operations outside its territory as its military shelled targets in Syria for a second day.
