Nat Gas, electricity prices soar in Turkey
Turkey raised prices of Nat Gas and electricity by 9.8 and 10.1% respectively Monday, triggering wide complains from the public.
The Turkish government introduced the hike in order to close the budget deficit. Besides gas and electricity, gasoline price also increased at the weekend, with one liter of gasoline selling for 4.83 Turkish Liras (US$2.68).
