Turkish official inflation is 6.65% in August

Istanbul. Turkish prices rose by 0.73% in August putting 12-month inflation to 6.65%, official data showed Monday, AFP reports.
Factory gate prices were up by 1.76 in the month, marking an annual increase of 11.0%, it said.
The greatest monthly increase in consumer prices was in transportation and food sectors with 1.90 and 1.38% respectively.
