The much anticipated annual Istanbul Film Festival, which is organized by the Istanbul Foundation of Culture and Arts and sponsored by Akbank, has started with an opening ceremony full of surprises in Lütfi Kırdar Convention and Exhibition Centre, on Friday night April 1st.
Throughout the ceremony, the distinguished faces of the past and the present of Turkish cinema took the stage and celebrated the 30th anniversary of the festival."
