U2 hit the ground running in Istanbul, Turkey. An impromptu performance of “Desire” by Bono and Edge at Ataturk International Airport marked the first-ever live performance by the band in Turkey.
Fans report that reaching Ataturk Olympic Stadium from Istanbul was rather difficult and did not bode well for leaving after the show. Rain, traffic and a rough landscape around the stadium combined to make travel difficult."
