"Writers, translators to gather in Istanbul
Istanbul will host the Writers' and Literary Translators' International Congress, or WALTIC, in September.
The congress will take place at Istanbul Bilgi University Sept. 2-5 with the participation of novelists, translators, publishers and academics from Bangladesh, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Chad, China, Turkish Cyprus, Denmark, Ethiopia, Finland, Germany, Hungary, Iceland, India, Iran, Ireland, Israel, Italy, Kyrgyzstan, Malawi, Norway, Pakistan, Palestine, Romania, Serbia, Sweden, Syria, Turkey, Uganda, the United States and Uzbekistan."
