Turkish President Abdullah Gul in an interview with French L’Express stated Turkey was not pressurized agreeing to the Armenia-Turkey rapprochement, Turkish news agency Anadolu reports.
“Nobody exerted pressure on Turkey to normalize relations with Armenia. Frozen conflicts are very dangerous, as they may escalate into military activities at any moment. We witnessed piteous development of events in the Russian-Georgian conflict,” Gul noted."
