There is a window of opportunity to resolve the Iranian situation. This opening is not one created by the recent talks between Iran and the U.S.-led powers. Though praised as constructive and hopeful, and despite the fact that it involved the first high-level encounter between American and Iranian officials, the Geneva talks were more or less the same of what had transpired before. This window has been there all along, but missed until now by both sides because of their inappropriate approaches."
