"Cyprus Gives Mixed Reception to Report on Turkey's EU Bid

Cyprus government gave a mixed reception to a European Commission progress report on Turkey's bid to join the European Union, which was made public Wednesday in Brussels.
The government spokesman in Nicosia described the report as quite satisfactory, but its foreign minister expressed reservations and said that there are points which the government would like to be couched in a more straightforward language."
