"Arınç meets Israeli envoy over TV series row

Deputy Prime Minister Bülent Arınç said Friday he was planning to meet with Gabby Levy, Israel’s ambassador to Ankara, to discuss the ongoing problems between the two countries.
“There were very harsh reactions against Turkey because of this television program,” Arınç told reporters early Friday in reference to the series “Separation” currently being aired by state broadcaster TRT. Last week Israel protested against Turkey because of the program, which depicted Israeli soldiers as murderers."
