Turkish Cypriots spent EUR 6.7 mln using credit and debit cards in the southern part of Cyprus during the first five months of the year, according to data from the credit card company JCC. In May alone, they spent EUR 1.5 mln, compared with EUR 1.3 mln in April.
The most popular item in the first five months of the year was supermarkets (reaching EUR 1.5 mln), followed by clothing (EUR 1.3 mln,200) and DIY (EUR 1.0 mln)."
