"Latvian FM Riekstins: Latvia supports Turkey integration into the EU
On 12 February, Foreign Minister Maris Riekstins met with the Minister for Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Turkey, Ali Babacan, who was on an official visit to Latvia.
During the meeting, the Foreign Ministers reviewed bilateral relations between Latvia and Turkey, including the development of economic co-operation between both countries. Minister Riekstins highlighted the untapped economic co-operation potential, at the same time emphasising that Turkey is a popular destination for Latvian tourists."
